FRIM offers all walks of life a back-to-nature experience whilst enjoying the flora, fauna, landscapes and the remains of an old Orang Asli settlement. A waterfall and river cutting through this forest reserve adds serenity to this luxuriant landscape.
For the more adventurous ones, check out the four jungle tracks: Keruing Trail, Rover Track, Engkabang Trail and Salleh Trail, all of which will take visitors through some of the spectacular secondary forests in Malaysia.
If you want to seek additional adventure, why not try the fragile-looking Canopy Walk, which is located 30m above the ground. This 200m canopy walkway is built on tree tops and is the third of its kind in Malaysia. Those interested in experiencing the canopy walk should preferably make prior arrangement because the number of people allowed on the canopy walk per day is limited to 250 people.
At FRIM, camping is available for those wanting to experience a night in the wilderness but prior permission is required. For more information, pleace contact FRIM at 603-62797000.
