| There are regular air-conditioned express bus services between Kuala Lumpur's Putra bus station, which can stop at major towns in Kelantan, including Gua Musang, before reaching Kota Bharu. From Kota Bharu you can take the No. 3 bus to Pasir Puteh which lies roughly 35km away. |
|
There's two routes you can take from Kuala Lumpur to Kota Bharu. The overland route takes you eastward along the Karak Highway to Kuantan in Pahang a journey of about 3 hours, and from there the journey to Kota Bharu takes another 4 1/2 hours' drive. But before reaching Kota Bharu, you will reach Pasir Puteh. Get onto the road that leads to Machang (Federal Road no. 41) and look out for signboards leading to Jeram Pasu.
The inland route to Kota Bharu turns off the Karak Highway at Bentong and proceeds northwards to Raub and Gua Musang. Once you reach Machang, turn into the road that leads to Pasir Puteh. Look out for signboards leading to Jeram Lenang and Jeram Pasu waterfalls. |
