Malaysia has few peaks that are sure to thrill mountain climbers. Armed with an adventurous spirit, bountiful energy and strong willpower, one can try climbing any of these peaks. For few whom do not feel energetic enough, they can try climbing a hill as an excellent alternative.
All those exhaustion and effort will easily be replaced with a feeling of jubilation and victory once they see the breathtaking sights. There are certain places like Gunung Tahan which is only recommended for those who are truly fit. You will encounter rapids with extremely fast currents, traverse through dense jungle and wade through waist-deep swamps teeming with hidden activity that might put off the squeamish.
You have to undergo all these hardships and obstacles to see the peak. It can be done at a relaxed and leisurely pace. Like the highest mountain in Southeast Asia, Mount Kinabalu. |
