Hailing from a semi-monarch historical background, all 13 states of Malaysia have their own line of monarchs that have been formed from previous generations, and are still upholding their royal traditions, which has become a touristy interest. The royal palaces that are situated in each of these states transcend the different royal identity, under the patronage of the King and Queen of Malaysia.

The mesmerizing architectures of the palaces is a spectacle, sparking the attention of visitors alike. From Kuala Terengganu to the southern state of Johor, tourists can view the enchanted palaces and be fascinated with the culture and the traditions still practiced behind the royal gates. The Istana Negara is a must see, along with other famous picks like the Istana Maziah in Terengganu.
