The Sabah Agricultural Park, which is located at Lagud Sebrang, about 15km from Tenom town extends over 1,500 acres. The objectives of setting up the Sabah Agricultural Park is to promote the Agrotourism industry in the state. At the same time, this park also provide educational and recreational facilities for both local and foreign visitors. See amazing orchids and garden landscape as soon as you step into the park's specially designed garden such as the Hoya Garden, Tenom Orchid Centre, Native Orchid Centre, Hybrid Orchid Centre and others. If you wish to stay here longer, the Park has chalets facing a lake where you can also go fishing, boating or have a picnic.
This park was officially opened to the public on March 25, 2000 by the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Datuk Seri Dr. Mahathir Mohammad. There are 3,538 plant species including trees, fruit trees and flowers. There is also a camping ground and a lake for fishing here.
Opening Hours Tuesday to Sunday from 9.00 am to 4.30 pm. The Park is closed on Mondays and public holidays.
