Located within the Gunung Insa Forest Reserve, Sungai Sedim (Sedim River) is one of the best places to go for white water rafting. The 15km long river has fast flowing waters and rapids excellent for white water sports activities. The river is also one of the best heart-stopping water rapids in the world and was chosen as the spot for the Kedah Open Wild Water Challenge event.

Water sports activities here is conducted by Rapid Fire Adventure Sdn Bhd. Among the activities available are kayaking, rafting, camping, night trekking. However, visitors are cautioned against swimming because of the fast flowing waters.

For land lovers, check out the jungle tracks that lead to nearby peaks like Gunung Inas (1,45m), Gunung Bintang Utara (1,835m), Gunung Bintang (1,865m) and Banjaran Bintang (1,699m).
