3) Genting International Convention Centre (GICC)

Situated in the First World Hotel in Genting - City of Entertainment, the Genting International Convention Centre (GICC) will be the main contender in Malaysia as well as in the international arena for any big and spectacular events.

4) Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC)

The latest addition to the KLCC development precinct will be the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. Planned to attract regional and international conventions, trade shows, public exhibitions, dinner functions and sporting events; the centre comprises a 3,000-seat plenary hall, 500-seat theatre, 110,000 square feet (10,000 square metres) of exhibition space, large conference halls, grand ballroom, banquet hall and 19 meeting rooms. Complementary facilities to be provided include VVIP suites, media room, business centre, bridal suites, prayer rooms, medical room, AV production rooms, concierge and luggage rooms.

A retail space for food outlets with over 200 seats, family restaurant, café, travel agency and bureau d'change will also be included. The convention centre will incorporate a large aquarium that focuses on "edu-tainment"; a truly unique underwater experience with extensive use of multi-media technologies that integrates technology, education and entertainment. To be developed as part of the convention centre complex is a 600-room four-star hotel that provides a convenient accommodation for convention business delegates.

5) Mahsuri International Exhibition Centre (MIEC)

Located a stone throw away from Hotel Helang and Langkasuka Beach Resort, MIEC is home of the world-famous bi-annual event Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition (LIMA). Apart from LIMA, other events held at the centre include Travel Mart and Motor Show.

The MIEC is the largest exhibition and convention facility in Langkawi with an area of approximately 71,400 square metres. 10) Putrajaya Convention Centre (PCC)

The Putrajaya Convention Centre of better known as PCC among the Putrajaya residents, is located on top of Taman Puncak Selatan in Precinct 5.

PCC is another impressive building of Putrajaya, takes its shape from the eye of the pending perak with the main halls set in the eye of the pending perak.

The shape of PCC is round. To alleviate the plain roundness of the structure, the structure roof is designed like a folded origami. From the front, its eaves or wings are lifted at the sides creating broad overhangs over the raking wall.

Since the walls are made of glass, generous natural daylights will illuminate the auditorium through the raked and shaded windows. The form has been described as distinctive and contemporary.

Sunway Pyramid Convention Centre located atop Sunway Pyramid shopping centre is directly linked to the shopping centre by an air-conditioned passage.
