Kuala Lumpur, May 13 – Feast Village at Starhill Gallery will be transformed into a food paradise featuring an array of fantastic cuisines – from Mediterranean cuisine and Middle Eastern delights to special Thai, Korean and Japanese menus. Starhill Gallery is proudly presenting the Midsummer Nights’ Feast, a 10-day gourmet festival that will celebrate joys of good food and tasteful wine from 11 to 20 July.

Inspired by the Shakespeare romantic comedy, the gourmet festival will be featured according to the Midsummer Nights’ Dream drama. There will be myriad of cultural sights, sounds and theatrical performances by the Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre (KLPac).

“A fantastic journey into a world of imagination, enchanting culinary experiences, and magical encounters with theatrical performances is how the Midsummer Nights’ Feast is going to be in this 10-day festival,” said General Manager of Starhill Gallery, Ms. Steffanie Chua.

She added that there will be special exclusive menus prepared by renowned chef from Discovery Travel & Living Host for World’s Café Asia and Winner of the Best Presenter 2007, Chef Bobby Chinn, also the funkiest maestro in the culinary world.

Other chefs include Master Chef Stephen Mercer and Chef Kevin Cape who will be preparing their famed signature masterpieces. There will also be a musical tribute to P.Ramlee with the theme, “Balik Kampung Night” where Food Ambassador for Malaysian Kitchen, Chef Ismail will prepare a special menu.

Each day guests will be surprised with an array of activities that will keep them on their feet and savour the gastronomic delight simultaneously. Filled with drama, among the fun-filled activities are educating the kids about food and allow them to get creative with cooking, and on the last day there will be a mystery to be solved – to find out who is the murderer of the day, based on the Shakespeare drama. Solve that puzzle, and you will win a mystery gift!

Besides that, there will be miscellaneous performances by the KLPac team who are amongst the multi talented individuals of present time. Be surprised and be mesmerised with all the exciting activities and the mouth-watering food prepared in this 10-day event that is sure to also be filled with magical experiences.
