Hotel Overview
The Datai is tucked in the middle of an ancient tropical rainforest, on the northwestern tip of Langkawi, with a secluded white sand beach facing the calm Andaman Sea.

Accomodation
Together they dreamed - stirring toward the goal of achieving, sensations to refresh the discerning soul. With villas, suites and rooms like chest of treasure - 108 great hideaways bound by quality beyond measure.
It fits into the landscape, like a hand fits a glove, this architectural symphony composed with care and love. It defies the cynical critics who never would believe, that this construction could ever be so thoughtfully achieved.
To move building parts an elephant was gainfully employed, So the natural forest would not be overly destroyed. Everything arrived by boat through the beautiful bay. Local workers then assembled this fine hideaway.
Deluxe Rooms
Size : 62.5m2
Each of the 54 Deluxe Rooms features a combined bedroom and living area with balcony. Additional facilities include two comfortable day beds, a private bar, and a spacious bathroom with dressing area, twin vanities, a bathtub and shower.
Pool Villas
Size : 93m2
The 40 freestanding Villas are built high up in the tropical rainforest, and are connected to public facilities by various scattered pathways. A private deck with sun loungers and an elevated verandah set the perfect milieu for “in-villa” dining.
With a larger exterior space to incorporate a 3.5m by 4m private plunge pool; Pool Villas also feature a private deck with daybed.
Superior Villas
Size : 120m2
Offering a much larger interior space in both the living area and bathroom, these elegantly designed villas incorporate an over sized day bed, dining table for two, 37” LCD flat screen TV, DVD player, Bose CD sound system & Lavazza coffee machine. The extremely spacious bathroom includes an 8” rainfall shower, twin terrazzo vanities and his and her wardrobes.
